About

I am a 19-year-old girl in college that is passionate about women having the correct and useful information on birth control. Birth control has saved my life so far with not having to worry about having an accidental pregnancy. Not only because I’m not old enough, financially ready, or honestly responsible enough.. But I do have high blood pressure and take pills to decrease my blood pressure. If I “accidently” get pregnant I can either have the risk of miscarriage or birth defect on my baby. Which I don’t wish for me or anyone else. This is why it is crucial for me to make sure I get the most effective birth control for me. I was taking the pill for years until I knew I wasn’t taking it responsibly and kept missing days. Doing this put me at risk of getting pregnant and messing with my body’s hormones. I then turned to the implant which I don’t have to remember to take and its working great for me. If only I had a blog like this before I decided to take the pill I wouldn’t be putting myself at risk as much.

This blog is for women to be informed and educated on the different types of birth control that is offered to them. Usually, doctors just recommend the pill, but what if the pill doesn’t work for you? What if it cost too much? These are the questions I want my audience to think about when looking at my blog posts. Be truthful to yourself and be able to control your future without any accidents!
